Traveling with the 7th Grade!

In 2018, my mother and my sister went to Orlando. I was very young but I went along with my sister, because her gift was to travel there. We traveled by plane and the trip was unforgettable, but tiring. We got there and we had to make the most of it because we only had 10 days. It seemed a lot, but it went by quickly. We stayed in a hotel. We left in the morning and we only went back to the hotel at night.  We visited Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World and Busch Gardens. It was all very magical and surreal. Of all the parks, the ones I liked the most were the Magic Kingdom and the Universal Studios, because both of them looked like you were in a Disney movie. I hope to live other of these adventures.

 One of the places I really want to visit is Florida, located in the Southeast region of the United States. There are many beautiful places to visit in Florida like Walt Disney World, located in Orlando, Universal Studios, Miami Beach. The main attractions, for me, would be The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. There is also the famous ice cream, which is served in a can shaped like Mickey's pants. Ocean Drive is one of the hottest avenues in Miami Beach and represents all the frenzy of South Beach, the hottest neighborhood in the city. There are also many other places that look wonderful and are located in Florida.

I want Cuba to really show what it's like there, since it's not a bad country. People should not see the bad side, but the good side of Cuba. Some reasons to travel to Cuba: • Contrary to what many people think, Cuba is INDEED a safe place. Its security is 100%. Of course, there is also danger in Cuba, but it is very low. • Cuba's education is seen as a priority since 1959. It has a great educational system and qualified teachers. Cuba is also the country that invests the most in education, with 13% of the national budget destined to it. Cuba is one of the countries with the lowest number of illiteracy, with 99.8% of people literate. This is the interference of the Cuban revolution. So yes, Cuba is a good place to travel to and to live.

I have an aunt called Luiza, who lives in Canada, and it's been like two years since she went there, at the time of covid. At the end of 2022, during my summer vacation, I went there and it was winter time there. It was snowing and I went sledding ans skiing. I also tried to make a snowman but it turned out horrible. I saw squirrels and they are really beautiful. Besides, there are a lot of people who come from Brazil, thus there are Brazilian shows, so we don't miss it here. There are very nice people there and all the work is very respectable, especially the agricultural work. My parents are thinking of moving there because I liked it a lot. I went there more to adapt. The people there are super respectful with Brazilians and very safe because in the houses there are no external walls. It's pretty much just the house and the backyard. It's a first world country, so it's very good for living.

One of the places I want to visit is Florida. My name is Jair Ribeiro Sterckele Neto, I'm eleven years old and I study at Unigrau School in São José do Rio Pardo. I am writing this blog with the guidance of my English teacher, Priscila.  I came to talk about New York, which is the city that I want to visit, full of culture and art. The tours that most attract me are the Statue of Liberty and the Times Square, with all its tall buildings, giant signs, many people moving from one side to another and yellow taxis parked in the streets.  Some main drivers cannot make excessive noise in traffic (except in an emergency), such as honking the horn for example. This law also includes car alarms; and the local DMV can issue fines. More than eight hundred languages are spoken in New York, making it the most linguistically diverse city in the world. It is said that four out of ten households speak a language other than English. And there are many other curiosities that make me want to fulfill this wish.
