My name is Jair Ribeiro Sterckele Neto, I'm eleven years old and I study at Unigrau School in São José do Rio Pardo. I am writing this blog with the guidance of my English teacher, Priscila.  I came to talk about New York, which is the city that I want to visit, full of culture and art. The tours that most attract me are the Statue of Liberty and the Times Square, with all its tall buildings, giant signs, many people moving from one side to another and yellow taxis parked in the streets.  Some main drivers cannot make excessive noise in traffic (except in an emergency), such as honking the horn for example. This law also includes car alarms; and the local DMV can issue fines. More than eight hundred languages are spoken in New York, making it the most linguistically diverse city in the world. It is said that four out of ten households speak a language other than English. And there are many other curiosities that make me want to fulfill this wish.
